Emmerich sighed, and raised his hand also. “This a risk I am willing to take.”
Karrson rose and walked over. “It is decided then,” he took his position by the door, as the others joined him. “That this door, shall open.”

Several flashlights searched the dim room, scanning over machinery, repair tools and equipment. Nothing moved.
“Looks to be clear.” Emmerich said. “That is more or less a relief. Enter warily, and clear the room.”
The company entered, each taking a direction, searching around. Eventually it became apparent that they were the only living things around. Much of a relief, for they expected worse. They were in what appears to be a maintenance workshop, large enough for several choppers to be repaired simultaneously. There were mechanic equipment scattered around the place, and cabinets of tools. So far on Karrson’s side the room looked empty of transportation, but it was not so in the others’ sides.
