“Run run RUN!” Hunter shouted.
It took several seconds for the three to recover from their shock, and they bolted for the chamber door. The rumbling grew unbearably loud, and the floor cracked as the monstrous worm laid its belly on it. The three dared not to look back as they fled through the chamber door, back towards the right, back to the control room, back to the others. They had not reached the control room yet, when they met the rest of their company in the corridor. Amongst them, though, Karrson noticed Clare’s absence.
