They had reached the other side of the warehouse, and stood upon a platform a flight of stairs above the floor. A door they slid open, revealing a dark corridor that turned to the left a short distance away, and out of the turn a dim light shone.
“Great. More dark corridors. I am totally not getting tied of this stupid facility.” Hunter muttered as they entered, and shut the door behind him.
“Endure a little longer. Soon we will be on our way out.” Emmerich said.
“The reactor room is very close now. We will first enter the control room, and near there we can access the reactor chamber, if there is need.” Clark said. “We should cleaning up the infecteds around this place, so we won’t be disturbed while we work. This is one of the few entrances to the reactor section. It is a small part of the facility, comprised of only the reactor control room, a staff office, and a reactor fuel storage room. The radioactive wastes are pumped to the automatic residue processing sector. Around that turn is the employee lobby and offices. If we follow the hallway, it should lead us to the reactor control room.”
