When the ceiling of the corridor finally drew itself over him, Karrson felt an indescribable relief. What was there had been minding its own business, and gave them leave to tresspass what is likely its own territory. The corridor was wide and short, for only a few paces forward and they could see light shining from the exit again. When they had passed out of the corridor, they found themselves in a large open air space. Of rectangular shape it was, and its length stretched away before them. At the further end there was no wall, but a slope that led upwards, turning to the left. Just like the lobby that they had only just passed, the ground was covered in dust. And so were the dozens of helicopters and land vehicles parked there, much to their despair. They seemed as if they had been parked in a dirty underground parking garage for a decade or more.
