“This looks several weeks old! We have NOT been down for that long!” Hunter cried, staring with disgust at one of the bodies.
All of the company was now gathered, and they took in the scene of absolute carnage. They had expected a relative temporal difference, but they had imagined that it would only become apparent when they had left the blast pit behind, not here.
“Perhaps we spent too long close to the immensely Distorted levels...our time must have been slower than we thought. We have been underground for weeks, even relative to a place of such near proximity to the blast pit,” Emmerich said in worry. “What in other places? Months? Years?”
