Karrson slide back into the ditch and looked back at his companions, all of which had seen the same things. The shock upon their faces were mutual.
Karrson turned the switch on his rifle from “safe” to “semi”. “Do we wait,” he looked at Emmerich with resolve, “Or do we strike first?” He would no longer hesitate when it came to destroying D.Ls. They would show him no mercy, thus he saw no reason to show them any in return.
“I say we go around...gunshots are loud...” Clare said, looking at the surrounding woods.
