“That’s dame true, mate.” Hunter approved. “You good? You look pretty messed up.”
“He was. Luckily, Giavoni’s Medical Department did not let us down when we passed through it. Found something to stench his bleeding and ease the pain. Shoul last for a couple of hours, so we are all good to go...basically.” Clare patted the chap on the shoulder. “He’s a tough guy, this one.”
“What’s the situation with weapons?” Emmerich asked, as he stood up and peered out the window on the door.
“I got a shot gun,” Clark said. “Sanders has his sidearm Glock, and Redfield was using mine, until he lost it.” He shot Clare a glare. “He’s only got a fire axe now.”
“Clare, you can take mine.” Emmerich unfastened his holster from his thigh and handed it to Clare, along with the magazines. “Keep the axe, though, it may come in handy.”
“We have only our rifles, but we each have a few grenades. We shall distribute them evenly among us, for use only in emergency situations.” Emmerich said, and motioned for Karrson and Hunter to give out the grenades with him. They each received two.
