Everyone sat silent for several minutes as the car bumped along the ruined road. When the tension in the air finally dissolved, Karrson asked with in a slightly hoarse voice :
“Is every one alright? No one wounded?” He cleared his throat afterwards, and swapped the empty magazine on his rifle for a fresh one from his vest, and smiled as the red zero on the bottom lift corner of sight turned into a blue thirty.
“I’m fine. What a miracle in that storm of lead,” replied Hunter.
