The Pathless on Paths---------Chapter VI part 6(10)

Suddenly he hit he floor, or at least he thought he had. Reality returned to him, like jerking awake from a dream with a sense of falling. He lay face down on the floor. The cement floor of the warehouse, he thought, as memory returned to him. The pain in his legs returned to him too, along with the pain in his appendages of smacking the ground when he woke. No mist he could see, though he remembered it when he passed out. He groaned and clambered up slowly.
“Warning. Hazardous chemicals detected.” His gas mask suddenly spoke.

“Great. Why did you not tell me sooner, idiot?” Karrson responded. He had forgotten about the built in user assistance system.
His companions were about him, laying on the ground. Emmerich was not there. He looked around, uncertain of his next actions.
“Over here! Come Quick!” Emmerich’s voice sounded from the side, in a dark corner. Karrson walked over. He saw Emmerich bending over a large cylindrical container. “What is this?” He asked.
“The source of our troubles. A chemical, a colourless, odorless hallucinogenic gas. The container was damaged and it escaped, and having density larger than air, flooded this area. We were unaware. I have manged to patch up the container, it should hold for a while. Lets wake our friends.”
