“Which one of you...is...Dr. Ivan Kater?” He asked slowly and clearly, with a cold and haughty voice. “I have a photo...lets see...” He looked at a holographic image projected by a wrist-mounted device, then in turn examined each member of the group.
“Yes, this guy.” He pointed at Dr. Kater. The a soldier came and shoved him towards the man in gray, bringing Dr. Kater next to him.
“Pick your closest associates,” the man said to Dr. Kater. “No more than two.”
There was an expression of strain of Dr. Kater’s face. He made no answer.
