The tires screeched and the car leaned forward as Emmerich punched the breaks. Karsson was shaken out of his dark visions as he reached out to stop himself from knocking out a tooth on the dashboard in front of him. His seat belt caught him first, as his momentum pressed him into it, suffocating him for a moment. Hunter behind him was not so lucky. He seemed to have forgotten about seat belts after the firefight, and was rammed strait into the back of Karrsons seat. He sat upright again rubbing his face. “Hell. What was that for, Emmerich. Something in the road?”
