Along with the voice, a heads-up-display system gradually came into focus. The font color was light blue, with a few words or figures in red. The filter made his breathing slightly more difficult, but better than he had expected. He reckoned that he could still run a considerable distance before breathing became a hindrance.
“Cool!” He heard Hunter exclaim.
“Indeed. I acquired them from Giavoni’s weapon’s department. Not the entire assembly is here, but it has all that we will need. Here, put your weapons protective gear in this bag.” He place a large black bag on the ground. “Remember to lean the dust on your weapons first before using it, and make that a habit from now on, for the dust is so fine that it will very likely cause malfunctions in the firing system. We can’t enter armed. We will enter Ground Zero using my Giavoni employee card. My true intentions are not yet exposed to Giavoni, I think. I have high enough security clearance to enter unquestioned, but as for you two...I shall bribe the guards and tell them you are new recruits heading in for training. Giavoni is not so clean a company as many believe. That should be enough to get us in. We are in luck that my car has a Giavoni paint-job. It will save us quite an amount of questions.”
