They disembarked and went to the boot. Emmerich took out from within several of the boxes they had seen earlier and placed the on the ground, each in front of them.
“Open, and you will see within a hazmat suite and gas mask, along with a few other pieces of equipment. Watch me and learn.” Emmerich began suiting up.
They first removed all of their combat gear and placed them in a pile before them for later use, until they were in only their lightest garments. The hazmat suites were integrated from boot to hood, an felt heavier than they looked. They were not the airtight type, so putting them on did not prove to be too much of a challenge for themselves. “Especially designed for protection against Distortion Radiation. Though not the most effective, it will do.”
