“They’re friendly,” Clark told him. “I found them outside our door nearly overcame by infecteds. I couldn’t just leave them to die there.”
“Well, if they seem trustworthy to you, than that’s good enough for me.” The scientist sighed.
They introduced themselves to each other. The scientist was Clare Redfield, a man of some forty years old, one of Dr. Kater and Dr. Noah’s colleagues from the Distortion research team. He had short blond hair showing signs of a once-existent hairstyle now ruined. He wore a pair of wood-rimmed square glasses. The injured guard was Sanders Goodman, a decent young chap with brush-like short black hair. A large patch of blood covered the lower right side of his uniform, and his face was strained in pain. Clark’s full name was Desmond Clark, a retired football athlete who later proved to be more successful as a security guard than a footballer, now the head of security in the facility, a decent paying job.
