He fumbled with it, examining every screw, button and panel. He took off the batter cover on the back. It was powered by a mall and thin lithium-ion battery. However, on one side of the groove in which the battery was installed, he saw what appeared to be a small button. Strange, for he could see no apparent use for it. His curiosity drove him to press it, but he held it back for a moment. He flipped it over again and tuned to speaker volume to zero. Now he could press without too much fear. He pressed the tiny button in with his fingernail, and immediately the two panels covering the sides of this small metal box opened outwards, only connected to the main body of the recorder at the top. Karrwson nearly dropped it in surprise. the two open flaps revealed nothing, for inside was yet another layer of metal. It would seem that they are not lids that covered anything at all...
