The guard had not given them the standard heavy body-armor, but lighter, smaller vests of enforced Kevlar. Along it were two loaded M16A4s mounted with an ACOG optic, weapon-light, and laser, and three extra magazines for each. No sidearm though, for pistols Karrson supposed that the soldiers carried them on themselves. This was already much over their hopes, and they were more than content with them. But just as they were about to finish strapping up their gear, a muffled voice sounded from the other side of the dumpster that froze them cold:
“Nice gear and all, but if you wanna get you’re going, that’s from appropriate.”
