“Oh, it appears that after a bright flash of light we have lost the signal of our reporter, I’m sure it’s only because too many are on air, please, stay with us, the problem will be soon sol——(a large explosion noise, sound of windows shattering, and screams.)”
“(Sound of signal being cut)(a few moments later) Dear residents of the the city of Caterpool, if your are hearing this, than our city has entered emergency state one, please find a secure indoor shelter immediately and prepare food, water, a radio, and first-aid supplies. Please remain calm and do not panic. Stay tuned in and wait for instructions from authorities.”

“Was that...an explosion?” Hunter throw a questioning look at Karrson.
“One cannot be sure of what happened there, I believe. But we should brace for a shock wave all the same. Our school is not that far off from the Citadel Square you know.”
They ducked and pulled themselves under the table for the quickest cover they could find, and it would appear that they were only just in time.
The very ground trembled and shook beneath his feet, the tables, walls and pillars vibrated, and Karrson was nearly deafened by a stupendous explosion noise so loud it made the loudest thing he had heard before sound like a whisper, and though it lasted but two seconds, Karrson was sure he felt that a vast extent of time passed before it ended, that he had somehow fallen into a void, a dream or perhaps vision of some sort. Something happened there, in his mind or not he could not tell, something vital that he could no longer recall, like a dream fading after awakening. When he had only begin to recover from the shock, he felt as if his old life was already several lifetimes away. But, as he re-orientated himself again, he found that he was still in the canteen. A very busted canteen. The lights had all been extinguished, and the only light now came from the windows, in which glass no long sat. At first all was silent, then his ears began to ring so painfully he had to wait for it to relief for sometime before he could rise. He had opened his mouth slightly when the blast hit, so judging by the slowly growing noise around him his hearing was not too seriously damaged. There were screams of pain not far off, presumably from inside the canteen, and the sound of shuffling from people gradually coming to their senses. He found Hunter prone besides him, and shook him. Hunter stirred, but it seemed that there would still be a while before he could recover. Karrson, after making sure that no potential crush hazard was around them, removed himself from under the table and pulled the yet dreamy Hunter out with him. He laid Hunter against a wall and studied the canteen. The floor, the walls, and the pillars were all coated with glistening gray dust. In fact, he found much of it on himself. He tried to pat it off, but he found that they would bit into his skin if he did so. He now deduced with his knowledge of https://wimgs.ssjz8.com/upload/9/11 that it was likely powdered glass that gave the dust its glimmer, but the gray dust itself was strange to him. He believed he had felt nothing more fine before in his life, for the dust particles were small enough to not be detected by his nerves. The dust on him felt like...a whole, and not just particles. A numerous amount of ceiling boards had fallen, and many were hanging on threads that were wires. He saw the source of the screams. Many people, students and teachers, lay by the windows, and a small puddle of blood dirtied with gray dust was already growing on the floor besides them. He had to call for aid.
