They lined up besides the door, weapons at the ready. Emmerish pulled the door open a fraction, and a gush of water rushed out. “Clear,” he whispered. They filed through the door, emerging into a flooded library-like room. Shelves upon shelves could be seen, all lined and filled with files, each shelf numbered and organized. There were tables on which computers were placed, and lamps for reading. The room was undecorated, dim lights hung directly from the cement ceiling. All was drowned in knee-deep water gray and murky.
