He had overheard Cesar talking to Mark days ago about how Cesar was planning to make another Jonah because he (lemon) wasn’t good enough and he made multiple mistakes that would become issues in the future. Jonah then starts to break down in front of Adam saying things about how he’s the perfect Jonah and no other would be the perfect friend. Adam just looked, he was getting uncomfortable witnessing it. Jonah stopped, his eyes looking straight into Adam’s.
