The Island Chapter 10(5)

Owen runs through the trees, there was no sound but only his breath. He saw their ship is just 50 meters away. While he’s running toward their ship, the Kalulu people chase over, suddenly one of the giant veins grabs his ankle. “Aah!” Owen falls on the ground and looked back, several more giant veins are trying to grab Owen, suddenly he saw one of the giant faces with huge veins are just right in front of him, making a big scream like an animal, trying to swallow Owen. “Get off me!” Owen kicked the monster’s face, the red veins shrink back a little bit, including the one on Owen’ s ankle. Owen gets up and starts running again. After a few seconds, he reaches the “Enlightening” and saw a man standing on the deck. It was Arthur. “Arthur! I’m here! Wait!” Owen shouted to Arthur, while Arthur is looking at the far side of the forest, he seems to noticed something on the forest. “Owen! Grab my hand! Come on!” Arthur grabs Owen’ s arm, pulled him to the deck. When Owen calms him down, he noticed something different about Arthur. “Arthur? Why are you wearing Poluto’ s clothes?” Owen asked Arthur. Arthur turned around and says: “Sorry, Owen.” “What are you talking about?” Arthur suddenly swings his right fist and knocked out Owen on the deck. Kanuba and his people walked out from the jungle, on the other side, Fake John and George drags Blair and real John to the ship. Arthur is still very calm, watching those monsters gather together at their ship. “Poluto? Is that you?” Kanuba ’s face returns to normal and asked Arthur. “Yes, my lord. ” Poluto said to Kanuba. “Where’s Arthur, Poluto?” Kanuba asked. “That loser? He’s dead. I consumed him back there, he’s already a skeleton right now.” Poluto pointed the forest back on their ship. “We don’t have much time. The master wants to see them now. Take them to the temple.” Kanuba said while looking at Owen who’s pass out. “Yes my lord.” Poluto starts to grab Owen’ s shoulder and gives his stomach a real hard punch. “Ouch!” Owen woke up with a painful tone and saw Arthur. “Arthur? Where, where are we?” “In your worst nightmare. Now stand up, and walks to the mountain, don’t you even think about escaping from us. We are far stronger and smarter than you, you don’t stand a chance.” Poluto said to Owen. Fake John kicks the real John’s head: “Wake up, sunshine! Rise and shine!” while George did the same to Blair. George told Blair and John to walk to the mountain. When the three humans have restored their sanity, the Kalulu people start walking towards the mountain.
