Kanuba's true form
“Oh my god.” Owen watches this monster in front of him. There were no eyes or any facial feature oh his face, only the living, wriggling, red veins. Like a giant corpse flower. However, the more strange thing is, Kanuba, this creature didn’t speak, but Owen can hear its voice inside his head like it’s telepathy communicate to Owen. “Why did you have to leave, Owen?” Kanuba’ s voice rang again. “Get out of my head!” Owen screamed at Kanuba, but Kanuba keeps approaching Owen at a slow pace. “You loved this place, isn’t it? This island, we been waiting for you, as our guest. For so many years. We've been waiting, waiting till we cannot stand anymore. But now, we have you and your friends to come by. I mean, isn’t it a wonderful thing being a citizen of this island? You can be anything, you can feel anything. Most important is, You are an immortal. You can live forever! Isn’t that your scientist always want? To be a god? This is the Kalulu tribe, the friendly tribe. You’ve met the people already, so why don’t you join us? To be one part of our big family, and served our great master together?” Owen put his head up and finds that some Kalulu people also gather on the beach, their face is also opened with the giant red veins, walking slowly to Owen like zombies. “I’m offering you one last chance to accept it. Stop fighting it, embrace it, and be one of us. Or, you can take it in a hard way.” Kanuba said to Owen. Owen saw there’s a rock next to him. “You wanna know? The answer is......” He picked it up. “This!” He trows to Kanuba’ s face. Kanuba makes an extremely painful scream, some of his veins broke, fall on the sand. Owen saw those veins are still alive even they are separated from their master while crawling to Owen. Owen runs to the forest, Kanuba lied on the ground with his painful screaming, the other Kalulu people starts to chase Owen on the back.
