 Biography of Liu Yu 
Liu Yu (April 16, 363 - June 26, 422), courtesy name Deyu [1], alias called Jinu[2], was originally from Suiyu, Pengcheng County, Pengcheng County. Pengzhou is today Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and Pengxian County is also under the jurisdiction of Xuzhou City. The legend of Liu Yu's birthplace is Jingkou Li, Dantu County, Jinling County. He was born in a poor family and grew up on a diet of 100 families. “Grass and trees on the setting sun, ordinary alleys, and humane slaves once lived in", is his true portrayal. Jingkou is equivalent to today's Zhenjiang city of Nanjing. Today, in the Zhenjiang Jingkou ferry next to the rocks, also engraved with Xin Qiji Jingkou Beigu Pavilion nostalgic whole words, which praise Liu Yu's famous sentence "like at the beginning, Jin Ge iron horse, gas swallow ten thousand miles like a tiger!"It is very striking. Liu Yu was an outstanding statesman and strategist from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the Southern and Northern Dynasties. He also put an end to the decadent Eastern Jin Dynasty under the Sima family. Liu Yu deposed Sima Dewen, the emperor of Jin Gong, and established the Song Dynasty, known in history as Liu Song, as the founding emperor of the Southern Liu Song Dynasty.
