The Skyline Chapter Two(Part 2)(2)
“Lets go,” I said while turning the engine down.
We walked through the noisy underground parking lot, passing through all the different sizes and shaped spaceships and hovercrafts. There were whirring of engine sounds all around. Many people got off of their spacecrafts and walked toward the elevators. The parking lot was tightly packed. There are only a few spaces left available for other spacecrafts.
“Welcome to Sector Five,” was broadcasted by the parking lot speakers.
One thing that I realized about the sector was it wasn’t as new or renovated as good as N or One. The parking lot looked new, but a bit worn out. Or it is just that the traffic that came here is too overwhelming to the cleaning system here. Sector One has a traffic control throughout the underground system, therefore they could make sure all parts of the underground could be renovated in different times. As for Sector N, the underground system isn’t as fully used as the other commercial Sectors, nor gets a lot of traffic.
From the bag she carried(which I haven’t noticed), Stella pulled out a miniature skateboard with no wheels and threw it on the ground. The board hovered three inches above the ground and the surface of the board expands to a regular sized skateboard. She stepped on it and the board lifted her, hovering on the ground while moving forward with me.
