The Arcaea surrounded her. The light they emitted, the light that had once brought her joy, the light that she had once loved so much… It was killing her. The glass sky shone brighter than a single memory ever could, blinding the girl they were supposed to serve. Her thoughts were clouded, there being too much to process at once. Her thoughts tried to quicken so they wouldn't lag behind, yet by attempting that they only slowed down. Now, she wasn’t sure where or when she was. Was she moving or was she standing still? Was she on the ground or was she floating in midair? Questions that should have had obvious answers now stump her. Her body and mind were numb, oblivious to herself and the world she was in, yet at the same time, she felt everything. She saw everything. Every memory was gnawing at her head all at once, their images and voices blurring together into a thick, bright, figurative and literal haze.
