火车加快速度，车轮欢快地唱起了歌，车厢呻吟着，震动着。我摸到窗口，坐在窗前，凝视着窗外对我来说是--片黑暗的日光。刚上来的男人代替了那个女孩。我又有了新旅伴，新游戏。
The train speeded up, the wheels sang merrily, and the car groan and shook. I touched the window, sat in front of it, and gazed out of the window at the dark sun for me. The man who just came up replaced the girl. I have a new travel companion, a new game.
“她是-一个很有趣的女孩。”我说，“能告诉我，她是长头发还是短头发吗?”
"she is-a very interesting girl." I said, "can you tell me if she has long hair or short hair?"
“我没注意。”他回答说，听上去挺纳闷的，“不过，我倒注意到了她的眼睛。她的眼睛很美丽，却毫无用处。她是一个瞎子。难道你没注意到吗?’
"I didn't notice." He replied, sounds rather puzzled, "but I noticed her eyes. Her eyes are beautiful, but useless. She is blind. Didn't you notice?'
