The Sound of Silence(8)
“Your True Heart may be there,” the boy said, and stopped an elderly. “Please pardon me. What are you doing here?”
The elderly replied, ”I am here for living a poetic life.”
He closed his eyes, and listened carefully to tweets and whooshes. Birds danced in the sky, and glided down onto a giant oak which stood lonely on the grassland.
“It feels like the time ceased to elapse, and I ceased to age as well.” The elderly said in a calm air.
“It should have been a welcomed resort,“ The boy remarked. “Yet few people come to here.”
“They are fools,” The elderly said with scorn. “They are blind to the true music. Ones who curl up in the city and listen to junk will not find real spirit of the Land for ever.
But I am filled with infinite solitude, as does that oak,” The elderly turned to the oak. “Like-minded people are rare, and fools everywhere.“
“What is your favorite music?” The boy inquired.
“I have got many. They are much more than stars,” The elderly replied. “I might never finish listening them in my lifelong time.”
