“Do you have a most-like?” The boy kept asking.
“No. Why should I? Make the way, do not waste my time. I am going to write reviews for the new album right now.” He nudged the boy aside and left impatiently.
“It is not the place my True Heart would lie.” The shepherd whispered softly.
At midday, they arrived at Electronic Square. There were many hot-air balloons in the sky, in red, blue, yellow, or rainbow color. Speakers were hanged aloft, playing rhythmic yet loudly dance music. It was a vast place where people enjoy their life.
The sun was scorching the boy’s black hair, which made him restless.
“Your True Heart may be there,” the boy said, and stopped a dancer, “Please pardon me. What are you doing here?”
The dancer replied, “I am here merely for dancing.”
People behind her grouped threes or fours, and moved their steps so as to follow the beat. Kids were running and playing, teens chatting and joking, and more of them appeared rejoicing. I hope I can be as happy as them someday, the shepherd thought, trying to convince himself that he was one of them.
