The Big Sister heard the news that our boy Michael Jr. was a talented chef who was comparable to an ancient artist called Gordon Ramsay, and required us to send him to the chef school in Brooklyn. Michael Jr. refused, and ranted that he would never get in touch with anything that the government provided and asked anymore. We were irritated by his unfaithfulness and put him inside the attic and tell him to think about his own behavior. Of course, we left some food and matches and a cooker so he would not die out of starvation.

The Passage to Lusfield - 洛斯菲尔德之行

After some months, I went up to the attic to see Michael. He was getting into puberty and had grown a beard. He was not wearing any clothes; instead of using a toilet, nearly every spot on the wall was scattered with feces and urines. I was angered by his lack of social obligation but lowered my voice since I felt sorry after all, that I had to apply the government's advice of giving little Michael some time to think. I squatted down beside the naked figure, and he started to mumble in an unclear tone. Suddenly, he stood, and I could see every joint of his bone penetrating and piercing his skin and flesh. He rumbled about his hatred of the government's enslavement of his parents and our submission to Ripenism, that if people were given birth to rescue themselves by following their social obligation. The meaning of life was meaningless. Then, he started to collapse, falling like a skeleton to the ground.
