啸夜的意译：
不论学了多少年的作曲，多少年的哲学，在大街上寻找食物的日复一日里，在废弃的房屋里寻找栖身之所的无数夜晚里，这些东西一点用处都派不上。
直译：
【再多年的作曲或哲学】也无法让我为那些【在大街上寻找食物或在废弃建筑的外壳中找地方睡觉的夜晚】做好准备。
If it's the home that makes a pony, then I'm built out of the grit of those far stronger and more generous than I.
蓝色字都修饰those，而those这里是一个代词，代指人们，此时和people差不多
比如：A little selfish behaviour is unlikely to cause real damage to those around us.
然后它们都修饰grit，这里或许又是个比喻（grit可以指砂砾，和前面的home或许呼应？）其实阅读的时候这个grit忽略也不影响阅读。
grit也可以指勇气。
