另外，在诺斯替主义的体系里，造物主就不是什么好的形象了，demiurge也就是犹太教的神在诺斯提教看来是一个伪的、不正统的神，甚至是一种邪恶的存在，（in the Gnostic and certain other systems）Demiurge is a supernatural being imagined as creating or fashioning the world in subordination to the Supreme Being, and sometimes regarded as the originator of evil.
