顺带一提,无意冒犯,但你试图阐述的这个观点有点蠢,我说的从来都不是“一个人都没有”的城市,恰恰相反,我想说的是一个城市一般来说是需要一些人口,但多一个还是少一个人根本不重要,即使这个城市的人口减半,那也还是个城市。我的观点是,关于“它什么时候才开始能被称为城市”和“它什么时候才能不被称为城市”的界限并不明确,所以我才说城市的每个居民都“肯定”算是城市的一部分是夸大其词。而且,没错,这只是一个小问题,但这本书里出现过很多次了,作者想要把一些完全合乎逻辑的事情说成是不符合逻辑的,对我来说这一点很令人恼火,他一直在说他有多聪明,他的逻辑何等完美无缺,但显然就不是这样。简单来说就是这个“肯定”惹恼了我。但会被惹恼这件事基本就是我的个人喜好而已。

Exactly. Is it only considered a city when there's people in it? Or can it be called a city by just having a number of buildings? Or only when someone calls it a "city"? None of these matters because none of it is explained in the new rule. What defines a "city" is unclear, thus the whole city (and all its residents) are included as a part of the "city". ..For now at least, as explained by Klein literally in the next few sentences, the book can add extra "details" to the rule to clearly define what a "city" is.
