Cecy stumbled literally in surprise, though she had watched out for obstacles, nearly falling over, reeling from the sudden emotions that carried fractured scenes along with them——
And the wave that dashed so fiercely against the rocks, evaporated like steam, disappearing in the multicolored light, gone so swift and so entirely that she could barely remember what had happened, except a blur of images and emotions.
It could have been a dream.
