event though LOTM itself always number one in qidian china. its really that bad marketplace in there?. why LOTM got rank 1 but the marketplace in china itself actualy arenot that good for western type fantasy.
即使诡秘自己在中国起点已经蝉联榜首好几次了都这样吗？那里的市场真的就这么不好吗？为什么诡秘都拿到月票榜首了，但西幻在中国的市场还是非常不好的？

Investors just aren't willing to take the risk for financial reasons. Also, LOTM is popular among the relatively younger people, but if you are making a drama or movie adaptation, it's not going to attract the older folks. And a lot of Chinese readers actually find LOTM hard to read because of all the English names, etc. So it just adds another obstacle for mass appeal.
