It sounded even wierder than being called ‘Angel’, like she was suddenly a brisk young businesswoman on her way to higher achievements. Why was she thinking about this, anyway?
Cecy surveyed her surroundings once more.
(She was, for once, in a room that resembled a room instead of a blank expanse of whiteness, an empty room devoid of furniture, or a semi-dark weapons room that looked like it had been converted hurriedly from a reading room.)
This time the room she was currently in resembled the training rooms in the movies, where young people train to fight. Thinking that, she tried to resist rolling her eyes. Since when have I stumbled into a mystery movie? This was real life, or so close to it Cecy couldn’t tell any difference from it anyway.
She was tired of thinking about these technicalities. Her brain seemed to have been working none stop for a long time, but she couldn’t tell how long it had been since she had woke up. One hour, maybe two?
