夏日里，炙热的风从窗外喷薄而出。
微尘 mote，人生中微小得不值一提的灰尘，甚至细碎得微不可见。
例：In those warm beams, the motes kept dancing up and down.

栋梁，横梁， 泛指有非凡才能的人，出自南朝·宋《世说新语·赏誉》：“庾子嵩目和峤，森森如千丈松，虽磊砢有节目，施之大厦，有栋梁之用。”
例：The ceilings are supported by oak beams. 天花板由橡木横梁支撑着。

It is curious that our own offenses should seem so much less heinous than the offenses of others. I suppose the reason is that we know all the circumstances that have occasioned them and so manage to excuse in ourselves what we cannot excuse in others.
