This is sad. I mean, I've read other books here that also contains gore. Are they specifically targeting LotM because of its ranking? How bad is the gory description?

It's not only about gore. It's about words that hints of ritual and occult. The official reason of censorship is it promotes superstition. Because of this new rule, the whole horror genre disappear from Qi. Only those with good ranking was spared somehow but things doesn't look good. If you know about My House of Horror, the latest chapters was completely censored for three days continuously. Also, the title of the novel was changed from "My House of Horror" to "My House of Adventure", because "horror" seems to become a sensitive word there.
