HP Questions Upon Re-reading: Book 1 Chapter 8 & 9(2)

I wonder why was Remembrall was ever invented. It simply notifies you that you have forgotten something but not the details. Isn’t it more useful if it can show the hints of what you forgot? It makes no change if you don’t remember what you don’t remember.
I had so many questions regarding the Flying lessons as well. First of all, why are there no safety measures against possible accidents during the class? In Neville’s case, he is fortunate enough to survive with only a broken wrist. What if he fell on his head and broke his neck or spine? The situation can only be worse if the accident occurs to multiple students at once. The teacher will not have time to save them. Also, being a teacher for so many years, why would Madam Hooch leave the class first with no one in charge. Neville’s injury is by no means life-threatening and needed to be rushed into the hospital wing. She could have notified and wait for Professor McGonagall to reach before sending Neville for treatment. If the same accidents happen to other impatient students while she was away, then it will be a disaster.
