HP Questions Upon Re-reading: Book 1 Chapter 8 & 9

Many people say that Professor Snape hated Harry and always make things difficult for him due to James Potter. But they also forgot that Snape loved Lily. I believe Harry’s talking back to Snape in the first Potion Class reminded Snape with James. Had Harry apologize for failing to answer or managed to answer the questions, it might just remind Snape of Lily, who was well-behaved and talented in Potion. After all, Harry does have Lily’s eyes. Snape did promise Dumbledore to take care of Harry, as remorse of causing Lily’s death with his information.
