How is Godric’s Hollow incident known to rest of the magic community? The fall of Potters and disappearance of Voldemort shouldn’t be known easily since Potters’ residence is protected by Fidelius Charm. Turns out everyone knows about it the next morning and started celebrating. Thus, in theory only Potters, Peter Pettigrew the Secret Keeper and Voldemort should know about the location. Assuming each side (Order of Phoenix, Minister of Magic and Death Eater) assigned their men in the perimeter to spy on Potters exiting the house, why is Professor McGonagall questioning the result of the incident?
