Several policemen stood near the pond, who were familiar faces. The corpse had been salvaged, and my senior fellow apprentice, Louis Lee was examining the surface of the corpse.
I took several heavy steps and slowly approached the corpse.
A familiar face, a pair of familiar big eyes, which remained the scared and helpless expression in his eyes.
The deceased was my first patient, so lovely a little boy-little Harry.
Little Harry lay there lifeless, staring at the lovely big eyes, but lost luster. Little Harry’s father, Wilson, was sitting outside the warning tape, sobbing softly. Flora seemed to have been crying hard, looking exhausted, sat beside Wilson feebly. The tears on her face had not dried up yet. She looked at the sky desperately. Neither of them noticed my arrival.
