That’s what happens when a person reaches my age, desperately hanging on to any sign of youth and refusing to concede to the younger generation. After all, we used to be the center of attention and the “young generation”. However, it is the struggle to make peace with reality that makes us mature and move on to the next age bracket prepared. As for myself, I am sure there is nothing wrong with disregarding the shows. We all have our likes and dislikes. The opinions on one or many shows mirror nothing but the diversity of values.

如果我真的已经脱节（或者说过时），我最后的倔强就是不必要非得紧跟时代，去学python或者了解最新的明星或者游戏。人贵有自知之明。最大的悲剧不是被时代抛弃，而是为了顺应时代或跟上别人而忘了自己是谁。
Even if I were indeed irrevelant or obsolete, my bottom line is not to force myself to learn Python or any buzz word just to keep up with time. The greatest tragedy is not becoming outdated, but forgetting who you are just to fit in.
