“If you knew all that,” Po Xie said surprisingly, “why’d you get so mad? Why not bow to my power?”
He drew her face up.
“Come on. Buddhism believes that all bodies and mind are suffering, life is full of pain. When a man was born, he began to cry. Cry for what? For why he was unfortunately given birth. Hunger, poverty, war, disease, agedness. They were through. They wanted out. Forever. They constantly invoked death for the relief and deliverance.
