Hell winds blew from behind. Bai Yunbin had been launched fierce attacks from the rear, but he stood up to this undaunted.
“Yunbin!” Long burst out, rushed to Po Xie and exerted all her strength to stab, but her attacks had been repulsed. She got round to him, “are you all right?”
“I’m fine. There was just a little bleeding. Nothing serious,” Bai Yunbin comforted her.
“We have to change our approach, the condition is too fierce now,” Bai Yunbin knitted the brows and a stratagem came to mind, “remember what we learned in the islet? Use Zi-Yang Sword Knack(紫阳剑诀)!”
They closed their eyes with fixed attention. With a low-pitched rumbling noise, Ziyun and Shaoyan began to rotate, one in clockwise while the other opposite. Having the target locked, the light leapt up off the steel and accumulated, soon it was like a long, flashing amethyst lunging at its enemy’s forehead. And then were smoke, noise, and explosions.
That brought about a radical change in the existing state of affairs.
“We did it! That’s totally awesome!” Bai shouted to his mate, joy mingled with surprise.
“No, he’s alive.” She looked ahead in despair.
“What?” Bai gulped.
Suddenly a fearful shock sent him flying backwards on to the ground. As he struggled for breath, the blood roaring in his ears, his shouts of terror began to subside, turning first into a whimper, then into a long plaintive wail. He could feel blood draining from his face. He wondered whether he was about to black out.
