Infinity(6)
The next day, Alex found himself sleeping on the wild. His cabin had disappeared, and there was no trace of anyone else. What lay in front of him was a gigantic cave leading to the center of Earth.
A voice seemed to echo in his ears raised, “Congratulation. Welcome to the second floor. A participant had been killed last night, so the necessary condition was fulfilled. Keep on your adventure, if you’re still pursuing for the infinite life.”
“Oh, yes, that’s it,” he murmured. Yet, what had remained in his mind of his coming here was the word “infinite”. Many years ago, hearing that there is a magical well in the deep forest, just one drink can live for a long life, he set up immediately for it, ignoring the warning that no one ever comes back alive.
Now, it seemed that what emerged from the “well” was boiling hot lava from volcanoes thousands of miles underground. “Is there any living things in the lava?” He thought, weakly collapsed on the ground.
Alex had no choice but to move on.
The cave opened its monstrous mouth, devouring all kinds of lives.
