当她坐起来时，她把毯子盖在自己身上以抵御房间里的寒冷。尽管开着暖气，窗户上的破烂的密封条还是让外面的空气进来了。她必须记得把袜子塞在上面，以防止风吹进来，或者下去，坚决要求房东重新密封窗户，他们付了足够的房租，理应得到这样的待遇！床头的小灯被点亮了，昏黄的灯光照亮了她的房间。她不想打开主灯。那太亮了。而她现在心情不好。
Her cup of now lukewarm chocolate was taken and nursed gently. Tired eyes looked at the box by her bed with a mix of disdain and apprehension. Part of her wanted to kick it over, take out some of the anger that had been left brewing underneath the hurt inside of her gut... The other part, the more reasonable side of her, wanted to let it just sit there, to never open it, as if it would mean another step of accepting what had happened.

Her soft, pink tongue flecked her lips to help prepare herself, hands slowly moving the lid to let it tumble to the floor.
