Ganyu greeted him with a cheery smile when he came in, a smile on her face. It didn’t help the hurt he felt but somehow having someone who wasn’t either trying to kill him or fuck him made him feel a little bit more at ease. “Hey Cocogoat,” he replied back with as much of a smile as he could.
“What’s wrong, Ajax?” Ganyu lifted the counter section for him to come behind.
“That obvious?”
“That you’re crying?” With a pull of the napkin container, she gently offered it to him to dab his eyes.
Ajax slowly accepted the napkin and slowly touched his cheeks and lashes, surprised to see it come back damp. “I... didn’t even realize. Heh... it’s so common lately.”
She looked up at him with nothing but empathy in her gaze. “It’s normally quiet around this time... go clock in and get changed, then we can talk a bit...”
