She would never admit she didn't like horror movies; she would always insist on seeing action films and comedies that depicted people with great sense of humor. Of course she would choose scary movies, since that's what makes her happy and what she enjoys, and that's what David also enjoys seeing sometimes. He remembers when she started showing him her favorite horror movies when they were first dating. He loved them. They were so dark, and they had terrible endings…
but he loved them, anyway. He would love anything she liked to watch.
After a while he stops flipping through the DVDs and just turns his TV on, waiting for the movie to load so he can start paying attention. But after another ten minutes, his stomach starts to grumble impatiently, and he's not even halfway through the movie.
By the time the credits start rolling, he's pretty pissed. The pizza must've gone out already. At least the show hasn't ended yet. But why won't anybody pick up the damn phone!?
