I'd imagine that Audrey would be very different if she was ready to drink her potion during King George III's speech. Maybe she would've resonated with emotions like righteous fervor and anger instead.

I always took the Evernight Goddess’s prayers to just be taken from actual writings as a source of the Authors inspiration for the story but now that we know the truth I’m just like “Sonovabitch, they practically shoved it in our face and I just ignored it!” The Ancient Sun God was just way too good of a red herring.

Now that I think about it, the goddess may have really been inspired by those texts for her prayers. After all, we know that the author doesn't simply take things from real life
