Dear Reader,
 The world changed forever on September 11, a day of unimaginable horror: airplanes hijacked, skyscrapers vanishing before our eyes, smoke and ash and bodies, and grief without end.
亲爱的读者，
 世界在 9 月 11 日永远改变了，这是一个难以想象的恐怖日子：飞机被劫持，摩天大楼在我们眼前消失，烟雾、灰烬和尸体，以及无休止的悲痛。
 Where could we turn? Drawing on our deep Christian heritage, the nation fell on its knees. President Bush quoted soothing words from Psalm 23. Members of Congress spontaneously broke out singing "God Bless America." People bearing pictures of their loved ones, and others, sheltering candles in their cupped palms, sang "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound ..." At such times, we lean on God's grace.
