Excited that she might have arrived at the right place, she slowly opened her eyes——and felt something, solid but also heavy, fall on top of her. Her eyesight spinning, she caught a sight of the blue sky, green grass, and a flash of violet that seemed to be moving. Surprised, with eyes wide open, she saw Will, who had been holding her hand just a moment ago. His clothes were ruffled a bit from recent travels, and his eyes were closed. She tried to sit up, but the heavy weight prevented her from doing so at the first try. She sighed, exasperated, ‘Will, can you get up? I’ve passed your test, so you owe me another answer.’
No response. Cecy frowned at the boy who was half on top of her——they were probably both sprawled in the grass. His eyes were still closed. Lifting her arm, she waved awkwardly in front of his face. ‘Will, what——’
There was no sign from Will that he had heard. Cecy decided to ignore the dead weight on top of her, and sit up nevertheless. She pushed hard at Will’s body on top of her, sliding it with alll her strength to her side. After that, she struggled to sit up. She felt drained, as if she had run five kilometers. But she only trudged through a countryside at normal pace.
